Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Wieting Funeral Home and at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, Brillion. The Rev. G. Dowling will officiate and burial will be in Holy Trinity Cemetery, Kasson.
Mrs. Geiger, nee Ida Vogel, was born Sept. 12, 1896, at Whitelaw, daughter of the late John and Mary Spaeth Vogel. She was married to Daniel Geiger June 20, 1917, at Whitelaw. The couple farmed in the Brillion area until retirement in 1951. They celebrated their golden wedding anniversary in June of 1967. Her husband preceded her in death in 1968. Mrs. Geiger was a member of St. Mary Church and the Christian Mothers Society of the church.
Survivors include three sons, Bernard, Daniel Jr., and Elmer of Brillion; five daughters, Mrs. Edward (Helaria) Dvorachek of Rt. 2, Reedsville, Mrs. Joseph (Ida) Juchem of Rt. 1, Chilton, Mrs. Michael (Dolores) Diny of Holandtown, Wis., and Mrs. Allen (Rita) Wittmann and Mrs. Albert (Germaine)
Brick of Brillion; three brothers, Frank, Richard and Bernard of Manitowoc; a sister, Sister Robert, of Holy Family Convent, Manitowoc; 51 grandchildren and two great grandchildren. A son, Norbert, preceded her in death in 1966
and six sisters, two brothers and two grandchildren also preceded.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Tuesday where a wake service will be at 8 p.m.
