GERMAINE BRICK
(1932 - 2006)

Germaine Ann (Geiger) Brick, 74, Brillion, passed away Monday, July 17, 2006, at St. Vincent Hospital.

She was born March 30, 1932, in Brillion, to the late Daniel and Ida (Vogel) Geiger. Germaine was very active, always enthusiastic to help family, friends and those she hadn't met. She was involved with the Christian Mothers, 4-H and the American Legion Auxiliary. She enjoyed gardening, taking walks and was a friend to animals of all shapes and sizes. Germaine also enjoyed cheering on her favorite teams: the Buck, Badgers and Packers. She volunteered to work at the Resch Center and Lambeau Field to earn funds to buy wheelchairs for the Veterans Association and to purchase musical instruments for the Cassville schools. Germaine worked for over 40 years helping to run the family shoe store in Brillion before semi-retiring to take on the fun adventure of selling used cars with her husband. She eventually retired and kept active visiting with family and friends, volunteering for various organizations and holding rummage sales.

Germaine is survived by her loving husband, Albert Brick, who she spent 49 wonderful years with, as well as four children, Dan (Catherine) Brick, Columbus, Wis.; Sue (Kirk) Tatge, Charlotte, N.C.; Sandie (Troy) Brick-Margelofsky, Dodgeville, Wis.; Kelly Jo (Christopher Tubbs) Brick, Cassville, Wis. She had a special place in her heart for granddaughter Rachel Tatge. Germaine is further survived by other dear relatives and friends.

Gathering time with family and friends will be held on Thursday, July 20, 2006, at Schauer & Schumacher Funeral Home, 340 S. Monroe Ave., Green Bay, from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. Visitation will continue at Holy Family Catholic Church, 1100 W. Ryan Street, Brillion, on Friday, July 21, 2006, from 9:30 a.m. until the Mass of Christian burial at 10:30 a.m. with Reverend Mathew Simonar officiating.
