* My photos are taken professionally with a NIKON camera.
* My photography is about quality, NOT quantity.
* I take the time to wait for the right weather and
lighting, remove debris from around the
monument and take the very best photo possible.
* I will not tarnish the peaceful beauty or disturb the reverence
of the grave site by adding dates, times or other superfluous
text to my photos.
* I respectfully refrain from posting any personal sentiments to
or about the deceased to my photos.
* I ensure that my reflection and/or shadow are not seen on the
monument or over the gravesite.
* I will not post photos that cut off part of the memorial
monument.
* Whenever possible, I will post two photos, one from a short distance, and one that is close-up of the memorial monument, crypt front or niche front. If there is a Military/Veteran's monument present, I will add a photo of that, also.
* I will add the cemetery or mausoleum section location of the grave or crypt in the caption below the photo.
* Each photo is a work of art and labor of love done with as much respect for your family member as I would want for my own.
* I have been photographing at Allouez Catholic Cemetery, the oldest operational cemetery in the state of Wisconsin, for over 50 years.
PLEASE NOTE: Graves photographed from late Fall to early Spring months (mid-November to early May) will not give you the best photos. Winters in Green Bay are long and brutal, filled with dark, cloudy days of sleet and snow or unbearable bitter cold days with the wind chill well below zero. Many monuments, especially Veteran's flush monuments, and the grave identifying numbers get buried in deep drifts of snow or covered in ice. The cemetery does not plow all of the service roads, making it difficult to get to many of the graves. In early Spring, the grounds become a spongy, muddy mess. For the best gravesite photos, please submit requests in Spring through Fall. The time frame to avoid adding photo requests is mid-November to the end of April.
EDITS, TRANSFERS, CORRECTIONS, LINK REQUESTS: Please make any transfer requests, corrections, or family linkage requests via the Edit tab on the memorial and include the profile number in your request. I will be happy to transfer management of a profile if I am not a relative or personally connected to the deceased. THANK YOU to all who've kindly submitted edits or transfers.
