Funeral services for Mrs. R.L. Lovvorn, 75, 2404 Hill Avenue, who died yesterday at a local hospital after a short illness, will be held at 3:30 p.m. today at Collier-Butler chapel. Burial will bein the Forrest cemetery.
Mrs. Lovvorn was a native of Carrollton, Ga. and a resident of Etowah County for the past 60 years. She was a member of the Dwight Baptist Church.
She is survived by a son, Robert R. Lovvorn, of Charleston, S.C.; five daughters, Mrs. Veo Pope, Mrs. Ora Mae Frix, Mrs. Lois Gannon, Mrs. Katherine Kilgore and Mrs. Dorothy Story, all of Gadsden; two sisters, Mrs. Tom Green of Gadsden and Mrs. Henry Horton of Wainwright, Okla.; 17 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
