Funeral services for Dorothy Lovvorn Story, 89, of Hokes Bluff, who passed away March 28, 2013, will be at 2 p.m. today at Glencoe-Hokes Bluff Chapel. The Rev. Jeremy Williams will officiate. Burial will follow at Forrest Cemetery. Glencoe-Hokes Bluff Funeral Chapel announcing. Mrs. Story was born on April 10, 1923, and a was resident of Etowah County. She was an active member of Brierwood Hills Baptist Church. She was also an active member of Hokes Bluff Seniors and Friends, Elliott Community Senior Club and Goodyear Retirees Club. Mrs. Story was preceded in death by her husband, J.L. "Buster" Story; parents, Robert Leonard and Ada Pearl Lovvorn; sisters, Veo Pope, Mae Frix, Lois Hicks and Catherine Kilgore; and brother, Rurrell Lovvorn.
