Miss Velma Louise Clifton, 55, 411 Pine Street, Sylvania, died Saturday at the Screven County Hospital.
The funeral will be held at 11 AM today at the Thompson Funeral Home with the Revs John Power and the Roy Hayes officiating. Burial will be in the Screven County Memorial Cemetery.
Ms. Clifton was a native of Screven County and a member of the Bethel Brick Methodist Church.
Survivors include five sisters, Mary Pearl Bazemore, Eunice C. Griner and Annette C. Hill, Sylvania, Jean C. Damian, Watkinsville, GA and Jane C. Hague, Spenceport, NY, and a brother Ed Clifton of Sylvania.
Nephews served as pallbearers.
