Eunice Clifton Griner, age 86, passed away Sunday, December 14, 2008, at Ogeechee Area Hospice in Statesboro. She was known as "Mimi" to her family and was born in Screven County. She was a member of Bethel Brick Church and was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her Husband: C.D. Griner, Jr.

Survivors: son and daughter-in-law, Donnie and Donna Griner of Statesboro; sisters and brothers-in-law, Annette C. and James Hill of Sylvania, Jean C. and Raymond T. Damian of Watkinsville, Ga., and Jane C. and Peter Hague of Athens; grandchildren, Cody Clifton Griner of Charleston, S.C. and Megan Lorranie Griner of Statesboro; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services: Tuesday, December 16, 2008, at 11 a.m. with the Rev. John Powell and Rev. Ralph Dixon, Jr. officiating. Burial at Screven County Memorial Cemetery.

Pallbearers: Bill Bazemore, Wilson Sanders, Juan Hill, Jay Hill, David Damian and Frederick "Fritz" Little.
