William Watson Clifton, 80, died Thursday morning in the Screven County Hospital.
Funeral services will be held today at 5 PM in the Hiltonia Methodist Church with the Revs Jack Ventley and Wendell Woods officiating. Burial will be in the Screven Memorial Park.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Jerry S. Clifton, Hiltonia; two sons, Homer W. Clifton & Edward H. Clifton, Sylvania, six daughters, Mrs. Lloyd Bazemore, Mrs. C. D. Griner, Jr., Mrs. James Hill, Sylvania, Velma Clifton, Hiltonia, Mrs. Jean Bamian, San Antonio, TX, Mrs. James Little, Brockfort, NJ, three sisters, Dice Clifton, Lakeland FL, Mrs. Florie Kent, Millen, GA and Mrs. Lucy Evert, Sylvania.
