Ben Roetgerman Rites Held Saturday

Bernard "Ben" Roetgerman, 72, lifelong resident of R.R. 1, Minster, died at 9:45 a.m.m last week Thursday morning in Joint Township Hospital where he had been a patient for the last two and a half weeks after suffering a heart attack.

Mr. Roetgerman was a semi-retired farmer. He resided all his life on his home place near Minster with his sister, Miss Bernadine Roetgerman, and Brother, Frank Roetgerman. He was never married.

Besides his brother and sister, he is survived by another sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Otte of Minster, a nephew and two nieces, Robert Roetgerman, at home, Mrs. Sylvester King of Rockford and Mrs. Wilibert Beckman of Minster, who were reared at the Roetgerman home following the death of their parenets.

Two sisters, Mrs. Mary Albers and Mrs. Anna Fortman and a brother, Joseph Roetgerman, are deceased.

He was a son of the late Herman and Anna Senger Roetgerman. His birth date was September 3, 1893.

He was a member of the St. Augustine Catholic Church, Minster, the Orphan's Society and Holy Name Society of the church, and the Cataract Fire Co.

Funeral services were held at 9 a.m. Monday in the St. Augustine Church with the Revered John Spatt officiating. Burial followed in the church cemetery.

Tue N.J. Hogenkamp Sons Funeral Home in Mister had charge of the services.
