Hestily was born January 28, 1903, in Dixie, Arkansas, son of the late Mr. And Mrs. Henry Hestily. He married Helen Morgan October 16, 1944, in Durant, Oklahoma. He was a vetern of World War II, serving in the U.S.Army. He retired from Denison Oxygen Supply and was past Commander of V.F.W. Post 2773, member of American Legion and the D.A.V.
Surviving are his wife; four sisters, Katie Jones of Sherman, Clara Garrett of Phoenix, Edna Hannan of Colbert, Ollie Lasater of Calera; and brother, Buck Hestily of Los Angeles.
The family will be at the funeral home tonight from 7-8.
