Sarah was married in London, 1817, to Robert M. COOPER; he died in 1839 on a return visit to England.
They emigrated to Boston via Quebec, 1835; she was living in Ward 2, Boston, Suffolk County, 1855 Massachusetts State Census; in Malden, Middlesex County, 1865 Massachusetts State Census; in Wisconsin, 1870 U.S. Census; and in Des Moines, Polk County, Iowa, 1880 U.S. Census.
Robert and Sarah had issue:
1. Robert M. COOPER Junior; he was married in Boston, 1843, to Lavina FARNSWORTH of Groton, Massachusetts (she died there, 18 August 1860, aged 35 - see her memorial at Groton #87677743).
2. Clara J. COOPER.
3. Emma Maria COOPER, born May-June 1832; she died at Boston, 20 May 1852, aged 19 years, 11 mos and 20 days.
4. Eustace John COOPER, born at Quebec, 1835; of Des Moines, Iowa, 1880, enumerated there with his wife Mary Pratt COOPER alias ATKINS (born Massachusetts, 1836, and was married to Eustice at Maldon, 16 September 1860), with 3 children - Ann Mary COOPER (born Newton Falls, Massachusetts, 7 April 1861, and married at Des Moines, 1884, to William L. GUERNSEY); Eustace Bolles COOPER (born Malden, Massachusetts, 28 January 1864); and Grace A. COOPER (Mem No 60533395 - born Wisconsin, about 1871; married at Des Moines, 1917, H.A. BRIGGS) - another child, Gertrude Clara COOPER, born at Malden, 24 August 1865, died there on 11 January 1866, an infant.
