Edna L. Eliason of Shelton died at Fir Lane Health and Rehabilitation Center on December 28. She was 98.
She was born in Ellensburg on August 9,1898 to Henry and Lola Swift-Barden Keithahn . She was reared in Tenino before moving to Shelton in 1925.
Mrs. Eliason was a teacher in the Shelton public schools before she retired in 1960. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, the American Legion Auxiliary and an organization of retired teachers.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John,in 1979.
Survivors include her son , John H. Eliason of Shelton; her daughters, Mary Lange Anderson of Vancouver and June Thayer of Fairbanks,Alaska; her sisters Alice Fraser of Oceanside,California, and Bessie Aaby of Federal Way; eight grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements by McComb Funeral Home.
