Find A Grave ID

I am a great-grandmother who started family research about 1990. I have pretty much completed the family histories of myself and my husband, but once in awhile a new relative shows up, and that is always exciting.

Find A Grave has been a valuable resource for me, and I like to contribute whenever I can, hopefully to provide information for other researchers.

I am not in a race to compile a large number of memorials. I try to find and add information that makes the memorials more meaningful, and I am always grateful for further information from contributors.

I may or may not adhere to the Find A Grave guidelines for transfers, depending on the individual circumstances. I do not understand the mind-set of those contributors who insist on following the Find A Grave "rules". If your person does not appear as a leaf on my family tree, there is a good chance that I will transfer, so ask .... However, you need to know that if you request a transfer, I will take a look at your contributor history, and if it appears all you are doing is collecting the work of other contributors, I will probably decline your request.
