BIG STONE GAP, Va. - Ballard Williams, 71, passed away Thursday (Nov.16, 2000) at home.
He attended the First Apostolic Faith Church of God in Appalachia and was retired from the Wise County School System.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Willie Mae (Billie)Williams; and second wife, Norma Williams.
Surviving are sons and daughter-in-law, Charles Wayne Williams,Ballard Dale and Mary Beth Williams, all of Big Stone Gap, Va.; daughters and son-in-law, Karen Faye and Thomas Wade, and Sandra Jean Williams, all of Big Stone Ga, Va.; three brothers, Howard Williams, Walter Williams and Ray Williams, all of Appalachia, Va.; three grandchildren, Chrissy Mullins, Shelly Wade, and Christopher Farmer; two great-grandchildren, Logan and Cory Mullins; special nieces and nephews, Roger Williams, Janet Chandler, Mark Williams; and several other nieces and nephews.
Calling hours are from 6 to 9 p.m. today at the Roy A. Green Funeral Home, Appalachia, Va.
Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday at the First Apostolic Faith Church of God, Appalachia, with the Rev. Johnny Flanary officiating.
Burial will follow at Powell Valley Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
