Rose Hales, 70, of Amarillo, died Monday, Feb. 2, 1998.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. Larry Payne of Coulter Road Baptist Church officiating. Arrangements are by Schooler-Gordon Funeral Directors, 5400 Bell St.
Mrs. Hales was born in McLean and had been a lifetime Amarillo resident. She was a homemaker. She also had worked for Polk Street United Methodist Church as a hostess.
She married Lewis Hales in 1945 at Groom.
Survivors include her husband; three sons, David Hales of Amarillo, Douglas Hales of Lubbock and Scott Hales of Dallas; two daughters, Ginger Bowen of Lalaina, Maui, and Angie Roberts of San Jose, Calif.; two brothers, Herman Hugg of Beaumont and Tice Hugg of Clovis, N.M.; and a grandchild.
The family requests memorials be to the Alzheimer's Association.
