CLOVIS, N.M. - Tice Elkins Hugg, 81, died Sunday, Feb. 1, 1998.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today in West 21st Street Church of Christ
with Cecil Bunch and Condy Billingsley officiating. Burial will be in
Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens Cemetery by Steed-Todd Funeral Home.
Mr. Hugg was born in Strawberry, Ark. He married Barbara Opal in 1940
at Pampa, Texas. They farmed in the Lazbuddie area. After retiring,
they moved to Clovis. They were active members of West 21st Street
Church of Christ.
Mrs. Hugg died in 1994.
Survivors include a son, Clifford Hugg of Portales; a sister, Rose
Hales of Amarillo; and a brother, Herman Hugg of Beaumont, Texas.
The family requests memorials be made to the Christian Children's Home
at Portales; or West 21st Street Church of Christ, 1720 W. 21st St.,
Clovis, N.M.
