ROSELLA LAU AHRENS (Buried with her first husband)

Rose B. Ahrens (sic), age 95, of Shady Lane Nursing Care Center, formerly of Potter, died on Saturday, Sept. 17, 2005.
She was born on Dec. 24, 1909, in the town of Rantoul, daughter of the late Frank and Pauline (Seehaefer) Fuhrmann. She married Clarence Lau on June 14, 1933. He preceded her in death in August of 1960.
On Oct. 15, 1966, she married Willmer Ahrens. He preceded her in death on July 18, 2003.
Rose worked for the Brillion Canning Co., New Holstein Mink Ranch and Shady Lane Nursing Care Center. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Rantoul and a former member of St. John St. James Lutheran Church in Reedsville.
Survivors include her children: Harland (Darlyene) Lau of Reedsville; Eunice (Marvin).Loppnow of Green Bay; Jerome (Diane) Lau of Collins; Gloria (Merlin) Robley of Collins; Denver (Jan) Lau of Brillion; Susan Kiel and special friend Bob Siehr of Manitowoc; 18 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
Rose was preceded in death by her husbands: Clarence and Wilmer; two grandsons: Jeffrey and Ricky; one great-grandson: Justin; and two sisters: Lilly Krepline and Holdina Dallmann.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 21 at 11 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Rantoul. The Rev. Mark Drews will officiate. Burial will be in the Westside Cemetery in Reedsville.
Friends may call the church on Wednesday from 9 a.m. until the time of service.
The Wieting Funeral Home in Brillion is assisting the family with arrangements.
