Fred Bubolz, Sr., 83, of Rt. 2, Reedsville, died Wednesday at Maple Crest Sanatorium, Whitelaw, after a lingering illness.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at St. John-St. James Evangelical Lutheran Church, Reedsville, the Rev. Harvey Heckendorf officiating. Burial will be in West Side Church Cemetery.
Mr. Bubolz was born May 21, 1881, in the town of Rockland, son of the late Fred and Augusta Mueller Bubolz. He married Mary Tolzman Nov. 10, 1919, and the couple farmed in the Town of Rockland.
He is survived by a son, Fred Jr., on the home farm, a sister, Mrs. Augusta Rachke, of Manitowoc, a brother, Adolph, of Rt. 2, Reedsville, and five grandchildren. His wife, four brothers and four sisters preceded him in death.
