WILHELMINA KLANN

Mrs. William Klann, 83, of Rockland, died Friday afternoon at Holy Family
hospital. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday at the Reedsville
Co-op funeral home and at 2 p.m. at St. John-James Evangelical Lutheran church
in Reedsville. The Rev. Elwood Haberman will officiate with burial in the
church cemetery.
Mrs. Klann, nee Wilhelmina Bubolz, was born in Rockland in 1866 and was married
to Mr. Klann in 1884. They operated a farm in Rockland until Mr. Klann’s death
in 1928.
Survivors are five daughters, Mrs. John Haese of Cato, Mrs. William Lau and Mrs.
Hubert Haese of Potter, Josephine and Sarah at home; eight sons, Adolph of Cato;
Gustav, Herman, Henry, Alfred and Edward of Rockland; Louis of Wayside; and
Frederick of Bellflower, Calif.; 20 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; brother,
Albert, of Oshkosh; two step brothers of Marshfield; sister, Mrs. Mary Rusch of
Quarry; six step sisters, of Marshfield.
The body may be viewed after 7 o’clock this evening at the Reedsville co-op funeral
home. The casket will not be opened in church.
