BURLINGTON—Mrs. Hannah Susan Beatty, 81, wife of William H. Beatty. RD 1, Burlington, was pronounced dead on arrival yesterday at Potomac Valley Hospital, Keyser.
A native of Romney, she was a daughter of the late Jeremiah and Barrett (Lewis) Poland.
Also surviving are five daughters, Mrs. Minnie Loy, Augusta; Mrs. Bessie Leatherman, Keyser; Mrs. Emma Biser, Barton; Miss Mary Beatty, at home, and Mrs. Marshall Staggs, Burlington; six sons, Marvin Beatty, Basye, Va.; Thomas Beatty with the Air Force in Thailand; Russell and Welby Beatty, both of Keyser; Joseph Beatty, Annandale, Va., and Richard Beatty, Burlington; two sisters; Mrs. Harry Starnes and Mrs. Gilbert Starnes, both of Romney; 26 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
The body is at the Shaffer Funeral Home, Romney, where friends will be received today from 7 to 9 p. m. Services will be conducted there tomorrow at 2 ps. m. by Rev. Raymond Kirby. Burial will be in Ebenezer Cemetery.
