Emma Ann (Beatty) Biser, 87, of Burlington, W.Va., died Thursday, April 29, 2010, at the Heartland of Keyser Nursing Home.

Born on Dec. 30, 1922, in Hampshire County, W.Va., she was a daughter of the late William Henry and Hannah Susan (Poland) Beatty. She also was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Ashby "Jack" Biser, on Aug. 24, 1984; three sisters and six brothers.

Mrs. Biser was a homemaker and was a member of the Second Baptist Church, Keyser.

Surviving are one brother, Richard S. Beatty Sr., and one sister, Mary V. Beatty, both of Burlington; and several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the Smith Funeral Home, Burlington Chapel, on Sunday, May 2, 2010, from 4-7 p.m.

Funeral services will be conducted at the Smith Funeral Home, Burlington Chapel, on Monday, May 3, at 1 p.m. with Pastor Samuel Biser officiating.

Interment will be in the Beaver Run Cemetery, Burlington.
