Funeral services for Mrs. Daisy Willock were held Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock from the Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home with the Rev. L. C. Kelly, Pineville, in charge, assisted by Rev. E. P. Gast. Burial was in
Brookside. Mrs. Willock died Monday at 8:30 p.m. at St. Joseph's Infirmary, Louisville, after an illness of one week. She suffered a severe heart attack here last week. A native of the county, daughter of the late J. T.
and Viola Parrott, Mrs. Willock professed fraith some thirty years ago and joined the Campbellsville Baptist Church. She united in marriage to John Willock in 1902 who survives her. She leaves a son, Charles R. "Mooney" Wiilock, Middlesboro, and a daughter, Mrs. Ralph Chapman, Newport, Ky.; a brother and a sister, Jim Parrott, Campbellsville, and Mrs. A. E. Bowen, Newtown, Ohio. She also leaves five half-sisters and four half-brothers:
Harry, Harvey, and Billie Parrott, Mrs. Ella Pike, and Mrs. Fannie Curry, all of Taylor County, Mrs. Mollie Bridges and Henry Parrott, Newtown, Ohio, Mrs. Nellie Martin and Mrs. Mina Love, Louisville, and a grandson, Ralph Chapman Jr. Pallbearers were: Tyler Parrott, Philip Bertram, Brack Sanders, Tommie Gibson, R. L. Kerr, and R. W. Buckner. Honorary: Ray Smith, Ralph Wood, Charles Romine, Frank Romine, C. M. James, Owen Hubbard, Claude Nance, Ray Nance, Welby Nance, Jim Brooks, and Paul Sanders. ~The News-Journal, Thursday, May 9, 1946
