91, went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Friday morning, Nov. 26, 2010, at Memorial Northpark. He was born Oct. 22, 1919 in LaFollette, Tenn., to the late Harry Martin and Dora Barley Revis. He was also preceded in death by brothers, Doyle Revis, R.C. Revis and Harley "Hop" Revis.Hunk lived in Dayton most of his life and enjoyed gardening, fishing and basket weaving. He served his country during World War II with the U.S. Army, serving in the South Pacific. He was a member of Bogle's Chapel Baptist Church.Hunk is survived by his wife of 62 years, Maxine Wilson Revis; sons, Anthony (Polly) Revis, Rev. Aaron (Kim) Revis; daughters, Angie (Gary) Pritchett and Anita Hicks, all of Dayton; brothers, Harry Revis Jr. and Mac Revis; sisters, Jeanette (Arthur) Mincey and Ruby (Tom) Wilkey, all of Dayton; and four granddaughters, Ashley Revis, Lindsay Hicks, Kanyon Revis and Chyanne Revis and many nieces and nephews. He will be laid to rest in Rhea Memory Gardens with military honors followed by a white dove release.
