GEORGE VOLK BURIED HERE
George Volk, who lived east of Pine River, was buried in the cemetery at Pequot Thursday afternoon, beside his father, who passed on years ago.
Mr. Volk died Monday afternoon from malarial fever. He was a young man, married only three months ago to a daughter of Claude Mitchell, of Swanburg.
Five brothers and six sisters survive. Funeral services were held at Pine River, Rev. Cartwright conducting the service.
