Death of Alice Woods
The death of Mrs. Alice Woods, widow of William Woods of Chatham Head, occurred Monday, January 21, at Hotel Dieu Hospital, in Chatham. She was 80.
Born in Minnesota, she was a daughter of the late Alexander and Anna (Mutch) Volk.
Surviving are two sons, James of Portland, Me., and William of Chatham Head; one daughter, Kathleen of Chatham Head; one brother and five sisters.
The body is resting at Bell's funeral home with service to be held Friday at 10 a.m. at the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Roman Catholic Church, Chatham Head.
Entombment will be in the St. Patrick's cemetery vault to await burial in the Spring.
