MRS. ANNA K. HARDY
Mrs. Anna K. Hardy was born in Watowan County, Minn., Sept. 10, 1867 and died Feb. 7, 1946 at the age of 79 years, 4 months and 18 days. When 18 she was united in marriage to Alexander Volk who preceded her in death January 13, 1900. To her were born twelve children, six sons and six daughters: Angie Volk of Brainerd, Minn., Alfred Volk, of Effie, Minn., Ralph Volk, address unknown, Clair Volk of Park Falls, Wis., Geo. Volk, who preceded her in death; Benny Kriegh of Oklahoma; Mrs. Alice Woods of Canada; Mrs. Clara Reeses of Cross Lake, Minn.; Mrs. Anna Fulton of Canada; Miss Agnes Kriegh of Minneapolis; Mrs. Tussle Roberts of Texas; Mrs. Mabel Foshley of Park Falls, Wis. There are thirty-four grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. In about 1896 she and Alexander Volk came to Pequot and filed on a homestead about three and a half miles northeast of town. In this vicinity she lived until about 13 years ago when she moved to a farm near Park Falls, Wis., where she lived until the time of her death.
Funeral services were held in Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Pequot Lakes, Monday, Feb. 11th at 2 p.m., Rev. Mohn officiating.
