She was born May 9, 1908 in Aurora, Utah, to Phillip Ezra and Mary Harward Mason. She married Floyd Curtis on February 4, 1923 in Richfield, Utah; solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple on June 10, 1995. He died December 13, 1984.
She was an active member of the LDS Church, serving as Relief Society visiting teacher and working in the Primary.
Mom spent most of her life raising and caring for her family. She was very talented in handiwork and crafts. Many people have her crocheted items. She loved gardening and having family get-togethers. She had a very good sense of humor and was fun to be around.
Survivors: children, Wayne Curtis, Aurora, Utah; Lane and Chandra Curtis, Salt Lake City, Utah; Dent and Kathleen Curtis, Jenny and Arden White, Onda Vee and George Dotson, all Richfield, Utah; Ileen and Jerry Anderson, Las Vegas, Nevada; Lois and Clark Elder, Marysvale, Utah; Gloria and Larry Stewart, Sigurd, Utah; daughter-in-law, Rita Curtis, Salt Lake City, Utah; son-in-law, Richard Perkins, New Castle, Colorado; 38 grandchildren; 69 great-grandchildren; 12 great-great-grandchildren; brother, Mark Mason, Colorado.
She was preceded in death by son, Bladen; daughter, Gaye Perkins; two infant children and several brothers and sisters.
Funeral services were held on Monday September 11, 1995 in the Aurora First LDS Ward. Interment was in the Aurora Cemetery under direction by Springer Turner Funeral Home, Richfield and Salina, Utah.
