Nina Gaye Perkins, 62, New Castle, Colorado, and formerly of Aurora, Utah, died January 22, 1995, in Grand Junction, Colorado.

She was born August 18, 1932 in Aurora, Utah, to Floyd and Bessie Mason Curtis.

She married Hal F. Anderson August 23, 1950 in Richfield, Utah. They were later divorced. She married Milton E. Morgan. They were later divorced. She married Richard Perkins on April 8, 1975.

She was raised in Aurora, Utah and attended North Sevier High School in Salina, Utah. She worked for Mountain Bell in Utah and Colorado for 30 years, retiring in 1987. She was very active and talented. She loved to sew and was an excellent seamstress. She loved to work in her yard and plant flowers.

Gaye loved life and was always the life of the party.

She is survived by her husband, Richard Perkins, New Castle, Colorado; children, Becky Jo and Danny York, Las Vegas, Nevada; Michael Floyd and Julie Anderson, Teasdale,Utah; Chad H. and Jennifer Anderson, Richfield, Utah; Jan marie and Lynn Johnson, Baytown, Texas; Milton E. "Buddy" Morgan, Salt Lake City, Utah; stepchildren, LaDonna and Howard Befort, Walnut Creek, California; Richard E. and Renata Perkins, Pacific Grove, California; Teri and Robert Parks, Grand Junction, Colorado; 11 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; mother, Bessie Mason Curtis, sisters and brothers, Jenny and Arden White, Onda Vee and George Dotson, Dent P. and Kathleen Curtis, all Richfield, Utah; Wayne Curtis, Aurora, Utah; Lois Jean and Clark Elder, Marysvale, Utah; Gloria Dawn and Larry Stwart; Sigurd, Utah; Ileen and Jerry Anderson, Las Vegas, Nevada, and Lane Curtis.

She was preceded in death by her father, a brother, Bladen F. Curtis, and two grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Thursday January 26, 1995 in the Aurora First LDS Ward. burial was in the Aurora Cemetery under direction by funeral directors, Neal s. Magleby & Sons Mortuary, Richfield, Utah.
