Frank W. Whitman, 78, 476 N. Fifth St., died Friday afternoon in Good Samaritan Hospital. Born in Lebanon County, he was a son of the late Henry and Sarah Landis Whitman. He was a retired employee of the Keystone Foundry and was a member of Bethany Evangelical United Brethren Church. Survivors include the following children: Mildred, wife of Daniel Gappa, Lebanon; Arlington, Media; Robert, Clifton N.J.; Anna, wife of Samuel Williams, Mrs. Betty Buffamoyer and Charles, all of Lebanon; Jack Harmuth, Lebanon; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
