Frank W. Whitman, 78, 476 N. Fifth St., died Friday afternoon in Good Samaritan Hospital. Born in Lebanon County, he was a son of the late Henry and Sarah Landis Whitman. He was a retired employee of the Keystone Foundry and was a member of Bethany Evangelical United Brethren Church. Survivors include the following children: Mildred, wife of Daniel Gappa, Lebanon; Arlington, Media; Robert, Clifton N.J.; Anna, wife of Samuel Williams, Mrs. Betty Buffamoyer and Charles, all of Lebanon; Jack Harmuth, Lebanon; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Funeral services for Frank W. Whitman, 476 N. Fifth St., were held this afternoon from the Rohland Funeral Home. The Rev. Russell C. Wentling, pastor of Bethany Evangelical United Brethren Church, officiated. Burial was made at Grand View Memorial Park. Bearers were Arlington, Robert and Charles Whitman, Jack Harmuth, Lt.
