Joseph K. Bailey
Joseph K. Bailey, 69, of 1137 Ninth street NW, died Saturday following a sudden illness at Valdosta, Ga., while traveling in the southeastern part of the country. He had been a Cedar Rapids resident 37 years.
Born June 6, 1906, at Agra, Kan., he was married to Dorothy L. Baker on May 14, 1927, at Cedar Rapids. He was employed by the Iowa Electric Light and Power Co. for 36 years until he retired in January, 1972.
Arrangements are pending at the Cedar Memorial funeral home.
