Bailey was born December 18, 1886, in Buchanan County. She was married to George Richard Adams in August 1914 at Rock Island, Illinois. She was a member of Carnation Rebekah Lodge No. 346 in Iowa City. Survivors include a daughter, Hazel Ressler fo Iowa City, a sister, Elva Hendryx of Center Point, and one grandchild. Services: 3 p.m. Saturday at George L. Gay Funeral Home with the Rev. Wilbur Wilcox, officiating. Burial: Troy Mills Cemetery. Visitation, is from 3 to 8 p.m. today. Memorials may be made to Atrium Village.
