MANWELL - Mrs. Julia Manwell, 80, died Tueday at her home in Freeland, Julia Mc Dowell was born May 10, 1852 in Landcaster, Erie County, N. Y. and was married November 4, 1869 to Duncan Mc Kellar of Waunosh, Huron County, Ontairo. Mr. Mc Kellar died June 29, 1884, at Bay City,. On February 3, 1885, she was married to Henry Manwell. Surviving are eight children. Mrs. William Denison, Mrs. Joseph Mc Carty, Mrs. Margarite Lewis and William and Albert Mc Kellar, Freeland, John Manwell, Saginaw, Phillip Roy Manwell, Merrill and Mrs. Mable Parker, Laporte, a step daughter Mrs. Emma Petzer, Saginaw, 20 grandchildren and three sisters and two brothers, Mrs. Duncan Mc Kellar, Saginaw, Mrs. Sarah Hunter, Hood River, Ore., Mrs. Thomas Potter, Sault Ste. Marie, Edward Mc Dowell, Toronto, Ont., and Hiram Mc Dowell, Rudyard, Chippewa county. The funeral will take place at 2 p.m. Thursday at the home. Rev. J. S. Barnes of Grand Rapids will officiate.
