Phoebe's dress caught fire at an open fireplace and she was fatally burned. Page 109 Wilderness to Wawanosh History book in South Half of Lot 34, Concession 6 of East Wawanosh township. Married 20 January 1840 in Nova Scotia to William McClinton born either 1812 or 1811 while going from Ireland to Nova Scotia, William was born on the boat coming to Canada from Ireland. His family lived first in Nova Scotia. The family moved after John was born in NS to live for a time in New York State and in 1855 moved to East Wawanosh settling in the South Half Lot 34 Conc 6.
