Freeland Man Dies in Saginaw
FREELAND - Albert McKellar, 81, of 3105 North Graham road, Thomas Township, Saginaw County, died Thursday night at St. Mary's Hospital in Saginaw.
Mr. McKellar was born May 24, 1881 in Tittabawassee Township, Saginaw County. He was a retired farmer.
He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Harriet McKellar, four sons Forrest, John and Robert McKellar, all of Midland, Earl McKellar, of Freeland, one daughter Mrs. Kenneth Reeves, of Freeland, 14 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, one brother, William McKellar, of Bay City, a half-brother, Ray Manwell, of Merrill and a half-sister, Mrs. Leaon Parker, of Laporte.
Funeral services will be held for Mr. McKellar at 2 p.m. Sunday from the Taylor Funeral Homein Freeland, the Rev. Donald C. Turbin, of Freeland Methodist Church, Officating, Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Taylor Funeral Home in Freeland after 7 p.m. today.
