The funeral services were held from her late home on Green Street Sunday, August 17th, 1931. Rev. Mr. Ingham of Jay officiated. The Methodist church choir rendered two selections, "Life's Railway to Heaven," also "Shall We Gather at the River?" The flowers were many and very beautiful which showed the many friends she had. She was laid at rest in the North Jay cemetery.
