I have his dates as 10 April 1807 Putney to 16 Mar 1886 Jay
Royal D. Joy did in fact die March 16,1886 and not 1880. His death record can be found in the Township Records of Jay (not the town), Located on page 20, number 25 of the death records. The Dr. that signed these papers was a Dr. F. J. D'Avigon.
