Clarks Hill, May 7 - Mrs. Laura Catherine Smith, 70, wife of Ralph Smith, died at her home here today at 2:30 p.m. Born here she was married in 1888 and was a member of the Christian Science church. Surviving besides the husband, are two daughters; Mrs. Maude Beiken, Indianapolis, and Mrs. Mae McDaniel, Stockwell; and a son, William, Lafayette,. The body was taken to the Baker funeral home at Dayton. Funeral services for Mrs. Lura Smith will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. from the residence in Clarks Hill. Burial in Johnson cemetery. Friends may call at the residence.
