Clark’s Hill - Willie B. Moore, 83, who spent most of his life in this area, died at 9 a.m. Saturday in Home Hospital, Lafayette, where he was a patient one month. His health had been failing for two years. A native of Illinois, he was a painter here and since 1960 had lived at Lafayette with his daughters. He was married in Lafayette in 1908 to Lela Ann Loveless, and was a member here of the Christian Church and Modern Woodmen of American Lodge. Surviving with the widow are two daughters, Mrs. Frank Andrews and Mrs. Charles B. Thompson, both of Lafayette. Rev. Norman Weaver officiating: interment Clark’s Hill Cemetery.
