Chester B. Sammons, 53, resident of 335 Wilton Drive died in a Greenville Hospital, Monday.
Son of George B. Sammons and Mattie Ritchey Sammons. Married Hester V. (Sumrow) in Wolfe City in June 1934. He was the owner operator of Sammons Grove Service Station.
Survived by wife; sisters Mrs. I. A. Thomason, Mrs. Velma Thomason, Miss Amber Thomason, Mrs. W.J. Scott, Mrs. F.M. Howard; brothers G.C. Sammons and Doyal Sammons; aunts, Birdie Sammons and Carrie Ritchey; uncle, Travis Ritchey.
