Alma M. (Hammie) Thomason of Greenville died at 8:45 p.m. Tuesday in a Greenville hospital.

Funeral service will be at 3 p.m. today at Owens Funeral Chapel in Wolfe City with Mr. Hayse Reneau and Dr. Marck Gibson officiating. Burial will be in Forest Park Cemetery.

She was born Dec. 31, 1903 in Hunt County to George and Mattie Ritchey Sammons. She was married to Lawrence A. Thomason Oct. 4, 1929 in Greenville. Mrs. Thomason was a member of Walnut Street Church of Christ.

Surviving are sisters, Amber Lee Smith of Dallas, Gertrude Scott of Honey Grove and Johnnie Howard of Wolfe City; and several nieces and nephews.

Nephews will serve as pallbearers. Owens Funeral Home of Wolfe City is in charge of arrangements.
