BURNHAM - Dale W. Amspacker Sr., 63, of 121 N. Walnut St., Burnham, died at 5:16 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 9, 2002, at Lewistown Hospital. Born April 2, 1939, in Yeagertown, he was a son of Kenneth L. Amspacker, 128 N. Mann Ave., Yeagertown and the late Luella L. (Snook) Amspacker. His wife, Gloria J. (Harpster) Amspacker, whom he married April 23, 1966, survives. Also surviving are: four children, Dale W. Amspacker II and Darren M. Amspacker, both of Lewistown, Dean K. Amspacker, Burnham, and Daniel J. Amspacker, Lewistown; a brother, Dallas M. Amspacker, Yeagertown; a sister, Mrs. Charles (Deanna) McCahan, Port Royal; eight grandchildren and a great-grandson. He was a mechanic for Susquehanna Motors and later for PennDot for 21 years retiring in April 1999. He served in the U.S. Air Force. He was a member of Yeagertown United Methodist Church. He was also a forest fire warden for 28 years. His funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Heller-Hoenstine Funeral Home, Inc., 108 First Ave., Burnham with Rev. Thomas B. Morningstar officiating. Interment will be in Juniata Memorial Park. Friends may call from 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to: American Cancer Society 26 N.
