Mrs. Jamie Clarke, 78, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 9, in her home in Milton Junction following a short illness.

Lottie, the daughter of James and Anna Morse McQueen, was born in Shenandoah, Iowa, Dec. 25, 1884. She was married to Jamie Clarke in 1918 in Milton. They farmed in the Milton area until retiring in 1941 when they moved to their present home.

She was a member of the Milton Methodist Church, and a member of WSCS.

Surviving are her husband; one son, Burton W., of Beloit; one granddaughter, Mrs. James Blair of Beloit, and two great-grandsons; three brothers, Edwin A. McQueen of Milton, Frank D. in Iowa, and a twin brother, David E., also in Iowa; two sisters, Ada and Maude McQueen of Iowa.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 12, in the Milton Methodist Church, The Rev. Walter Wagener officiating. Burial will be in Milton Cemetery.

Friends may call Friday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Albrecht Funeral Home, Milton Junction.
