From The Pioneer Oct 20, 1905
A very pretty little wedding took place a little after seven o'clock last Wednesday evening at the home of the groom's sister, Mrs. Osborne, in the south part of town, when Miss Lena Wittlake and Mr. Charles Metz were united in the bounds of holy wedlock, Rev. J.W. Craveau of the Presbyterian Church officiating. The ceremony was performed in the presence of only the immediate relatives and a few invited guests.
These young people need no introduction, having lived in this vicinity for a number of years. Mr. and Mrs. Metz will make their home in Lafayette, Colorado, where the congratulations and best wishes of a host of friends will go with them.
