Mrs. Cletus Parker
BLACKSBURG - Mrs. Teresa Peeler Parker, 78, of. Route 1, widow of Cletus Parker, died this morning at 6:30 in Cherokee County Memorial Hospital.
A native of Cherokee County, she was a daughter of the late James and Christine Martin Peeler and a member of Hopewell Baptist Church.
Surviving are two sons, Curtis Parker of Blacksburg and Lewis Parker of Little Rock, Arkansas; seven daughters Mrs. Rena Martin, Mrs. Teresa Davis, Mrs. Thelma Ham, Mrs. Cecil Davidson and Mrs. Geraldine Martin, all of Blacksburg, Mrs. Carolyn Steward of York and Mrs. Amelia Zedroeski of Pittsburgh, Pa.; four sisters-Mrs. Zula Davis and Mrs. Ethel Wright, both of Gaffney, Mrs. Vera Porter and Mrs. Osie Hambright, both of Blacksburg; 26 grandchildren; 12 greatgrandchildren.
Services will be held Friday at 4 p.m. at Hopewell Baptist Church conducted by Revs. C. E. Hampton and R. G. Burnett with burial in the church cemetery.
