Zula Peeler Davis, 97, of 504 Sardis Road, Gaffney, died Saturday, Dec. 6, 2003, at Upstate Carolina Medical Center.
Born in the Wilkinsville community in Gaffney, she was the daughter of the late James Madison Peeler and the late Christina Martin Peeler, and widow of Claude Alfred or Albert Davis.
She is survived by a daughter, Miriam Cobb of Gaffney; two sons, Conrad A. Davis of Blacksburg and John M. Davis of Gaffney; a sister, Ethel Wright of Gaffney; five grandsons; 10 great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by 14 brothers and sisters.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. today at Sardis United Methodist Church, officiated by the Rev. Chris Barrett.
Pallbearers will be Daniel Cobb, Robert Cobb, Kevin Cobb, Charles Davis, Tony Davis, John Davis and Patrick Davis.
Family members are at their respective homes and the home.
Memorials may be made to Sardis United Methodist Church or the DMW Fire Department.
