She was the wife of the late Rev. Raymond C. Phibbs.
Born in Timberville, Va., she was the daughter of the late John and Effie Evers Glick.
A 1950 graduate from Bridgewater College in Bridgewater, Va., she was an elementary school teacher prior to raising her family.
She was a member of St. Peter's United Church of Christ and active in her husband's pastorates in Connecticut, Ohio and Maine. They moved to Lancaster in 1981.
She is survived by four daughters and three sons,14 grandchildren; six brothers; and three sisters.
