Our beloved mother, grandmother, sister and aunt peacefully passed September 12, 2005 at home in the arms of her loving children, after battling a rare disease.
Born February 21, 1921 in Rexburg, Idaho to John H. Hope and Thora E. Tayson Hope.
Married Hyrum J. Higley November 22, 1938. Their union blessed them with five children: Karen Albretsen, Keysaw, Valita (Jack) Prisbrey, Sherrie (Larry) Perry, Teresa Jensen Peterson and Michael Higley; 18 grandchildren; 47 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
She loved family gatherings, gardening, and watching the Price is Right.
She is survived by her five children, four sisters, one brother and most of her descendants. Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 17, 2005 at 2 p.m. at Lake Hills Mortuary, 10055 South State Street, Sandy, Utah. Friends may call Friday, September 16 from 6 - 8 p.m. and one hour prior to services.
