Roy A. Alexander, Sr., age 79, of Jonesboro, LA passed away Monday, June 28, 2004. Mr. Alexander was born January 30, 1925 in Mt. Olive, LA.
Services for Mr. Alexander will be at Edmonds Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, June 30, 2004 at 10:00 AM with Rev. Steven Nelson officiating. Interment will be in Garden of Memories, Jonesboro.
Roy A. Alexander, Sr. was a retired Construction Company Owner and a U.S. Navy Veteran, having served his country during WWII.
Survivors include: one son, Roy A. Alexander, Jr. and wife Cecille of Rowlett, TX; two sisters, Mary A. Bell of Jonesboro, LA and Lettie Patton of Jonesboro, LA; two brothers, Buddy Alexander of Jonesboro, LA and H.V. Alexander of Jonesboro, LA; four grandchildren, John Morgan and wife Tracy of Quitman, LA, Brad Alexander of Rowlett, TX, Ryan Alexander of Rowlett, TX and Matthew Alexander of Rowlett, TX; one great grandchild, Luke David Morgan of Quitman, LA.
Pallbearers will be: David Brown, Wayne Patton, Bobby Patton, Larry Alexander, Donnie Askin and Gary Bell.
