Funeral services for Lettie Alexander Patton, age 93 of Jonesboro, LA, will be held on Sept. 1, 2005 at 10:00 AM at the Owens Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with the Pastor Chris Witt and Bro. Steve Nelson officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Olive Cemetery in Quitman under the direction of Owens Memorial Chapel Funeral Home of Ruston.
Mrs. Patton was born on February 12, 1912 to Amsey and Virginia Alexander. She passed away on August 30, 2005 in Jonesboro.
Mrs. Patton was member of South Parkway Church in Ruston. She loved watching her grandchildren play ball and attend dirt track races. She was a member of the Magi Chapter Order of the Eastern Star in Ruston, LA.
She was preceded in death by her husband Lowell C. Patton, sons: Doyle L. Patton, John R. "Buddy" Patton, and Wayne D. Patton, as well as her parents.
Mrs. Patton is survived by her children: Bobby Patton and wife Kay of Jonesboro, Patsy Alexander and husband Randy of Choudrant, LA; nine grandchildren, and numerous great grandchildren. She is also survived by one brother: Huga V. Alexander; and one sister: Mary Bell, both of Jonesboro, LA.
The family will receive friends at Owens Memorial Chapel Funeral Home on Wednesday, August 31, 2005 from 5:00 until 8:00 PM.
