Quinter -- William Lang, 74, Quinter, died today at Gove County Hospital. A retired carpenter, he had lived in Quinter the past 30 years.

Survivors include his wife, Anna; four sons, Lawrence, Melchoir, Wilfred, all of Quinter, LaVerne, Hillsboro; three daughters, Mrs. Philip (Frances) Kahler, Mrs. Julius (Rosey) Kinderknecht, both of Quinter, Mrs. George (Renilda) Goetz, Salina; four brothers, Mike, Victor, Hays, Pete, St. Peter, Adam, Hutchinson; four sisters, Mrs. Katie Tholen, Mrs. Anna Rupp, Mrs. George Wasinger, all of Hays, Mrs. Leo Paul, Atchinson; 16 grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Michael’s Church, Collyer. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Rosary services will be at 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at Hendreick’s Chapel, WaKeeney. Friends may call at Hendrick’s in WaKenney from 6 p.m. Wednesday until service time.
